Our Mission Is to Provide a Professional & Honest Approach to Health Care
The Somalilander-American Health Association (SAHA) is a group of healthcare professionals based in North America that promote the advancement of health care in Somaliland.
We are a nonprofit organization registered in the US. Made of American healthcare professionals of Somali descent dedicated to deliver quality and equitable health outcomes for the Somaliland people and other peoples in the region.
Our Vision
To help build a healthcare system in Somaliland that delivers the highest quality and affordable healthcare services to the community and the adjoining communities, helping to improve the health indices in the region.
Our Journey
Our formation was borne out of the unprecedented challenges posed by the spread of SARS-CoV-2 across the world.
Our initial aim was to fill the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic emergency response gaps of the health care in Somaliland.
Our efforts played a major role in making oxygen available across the country.
