SAHA held its first Healthcare Quality Convention in
Hargeisa, Somaliland
June 28 – 30, 2021
The theme of this inaugural SAHA conference was ‘Advancing Evidence-Based Healthcare in Somaliland’. SAHA believes that quality healthcare begins with evidence-based education at all levels of training and practice. As such, with Ariadne Labs and UpToDate, SAHA launched UpToDate, an electronic evidence-based clinical decision support software, in Somaliland. The software will be used by medical students and physicians across Somaliland, free of charge, to learn and provide the best available evidence-based care to their patients throughout every stage of the diagnosis and treatment process.
